How AarogyaX lists doctors, and how booking works

AarogyaX is the software clinics use to run their day: appointments, prescriptions and billing. The doctor pages on this site are published by those clinics from that same system. This page explains what that means for you as a patient.

Who is listed

Only doctors whose clinic runs on AarogyaX. Every clinic that joins is reviewed by the AarogyaX team before it can use the system. A doctor appears here when they switch their public page on, and they can switch it off at any time. AarogyaX does not copy doctors’ details from other websites.

Where the information comes from

From the clinic itself. The doctor’s name, qualifications, registration number, speciality and languages are entered by the doctor. The clinic’s address, phone number, timings and consultation fee are the ones set in the clinic’s own AarogyaX system — the same settings the clinic schedules and bills with. The free times you can book are the clinic’s real free times.

Each doctor’s page shows when its details last changed. If something looks wrong, tell us (see below) or tell the clinic — the clinic can correct its own page straight away.

Medical registration

A doctor’s page shows their medical registration number and the council that issued it, as given by the doctor. Doctors in India are required to display this number. You can look a doctor up in the Indian Medical Register on the National Medical Commission’s website or with the state medical council named on the page.

How the lists are ordered

Doctors who take online bookings are shown first, then those with more years of experience, then by name. The order is the same for everyone. No doctor pays for a place in a list, there are no sponsored positions, and AarogyaX does not describe any doctor as “best”. It shows facts — qualification, registration, experience, fee, timings — so that you can choose.

How booking works

  1. On the doctor’s page, pick a free time.
  2. Enter the patient’s name, age and gender. You may add the reason for the visit.
  3. Confirm by sending the ready-made message from your own WhatsApp. That message is what proves the phone number is yours; there is no password and no one-time code.
  4. The appointment is confirmed straight away, and you get a reply on WhatsApp with a private link to see or cancel it.

Booking is free for patients. Nothing is charged online: you pay the consultation fee at the clinic. If a doctor does not take online bookings, their page shows the clinic’s phone number instead.

Your information

To book, AarogyaX takes the patient’s name, age and gender, the reason for the visit if you add one, and the WhatsApp number you confirm from. These go to the clinic you booked with, and to no other clinic. Doctor pages and lists never show anything about patients. The details are in the privacy policy.

Ratings and reviews

AarogyaX does not publish star ratings or reviews of doctors, and does not copy ratings from other websites.

Not for emergencies
